In a While, Crocodile: New Orleans Slow Cooker Recipes
Many never seem to have the time to make good-quality meals for their families. A slow cooker is a great solution. In this convenient cookbook, favorite New Orleans recipes have been adapted for cooking in this popular appliance.
About the Author: Lauren Malone Keller is a homemaker and former businesswoman in New Orleans, a city famous for its cuisine. When she and her sister-in-law, Patrice Keller Kononchek, made the transition from businesswomen to busy moms, they wanted to bring restaurant-quality dishes to their kitchens in a slow-cooker fashion. Keller completed an immersion program in Belgium and attended Loyola University New Orleans. She graduated magna cum laude with a BA in mass communications and advertising. Along with her husband, Robert, and their son, she lives in New Orleans, where she continues to try new recipes and experiment with her slow cooker.
